STATUS:
TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is temporarily closed while we address a mold issue identified through environmental testing.
We are currently securing the unaffected parts of the building and are in the containment and remediation phase. Our priority is to protect the building, complete this work responsibly, and reopen safely for the community.

We are actively moving through the appropriate steps, including:
- Environmental testing and assessment
- Containment and securing unaffected areas
- Remediation planning and work underway
- Vendor coordination and scheduling
- Working with insurance
- Approvals and next-step coordination

LIBRARY SERVICES DURING THE CLOSURE
Even while the building is closed, the library is still here for you.
Virtual services and programs
- We are continuing virtual programming. Please check our online calendar and social media for upcoming events and registration links.
- Digital resources remain available, including ebooks, audiobooks, databases, and streaming services.
Borrowing and returns
- You can pick up holds and return books at any Westchester County Library System member library.
In the community
- Please look for our library staff in the schools and out in the community. We will continue showing up and sharing services while we work toward reopening.
