STATUS:
TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Renovation work is continuing at the library, and we’re happy to share that the remediation phase has now been completed. The restoration phase will begin next week, and the HVAC system will also be addressed as part of the project.
We know everyone is eager for the library to reopen, and we truly appreciate your patience and support. At this stage of the construction process, we are not yet able to commit to a reopening date, but we will continue to share updates as progress continues.
While the library building remains closed, we ask that you please do not place books in the book drop, as we are not currently receiving deliveries from the Westchester Library System.
In the meantime, you can continue using your library card at any Westchester library. Nearby options include Lewisboro Library, Somers Library, Katonah Library, and Pound Ridge Library. You may also return library materials to any of these locations.

LIBRARY SERVICES DURING THE CLOSURE
Even while the building is closed, the library is still here for you.
Virtual services and programs
- We are continuing virtual programming. Please check our online calendar and social media for upcoming events and registration links.
- Digital resources remain available, including eBooks, audiobooks, databases, streaming services, and
online learning tools through the Westchester Library System.
Borrowing and returns
- You can pick up holds and return books at any Westchester Library System member library.
In the community
- Please look for our library staff in the schools and out in the community. We will continue showing up and sharing services while we work toward reopening.

This work is the first step toward reopening the library building.
At the same time, the library is continuing to plan for the future through Build The Next Chapter, the campaign that will help complete the larger interior transformation.
