DATE CHANGE – SATURDAY, JULY 17 AT 3:00 IN PERSON AT THE LIBRARY OUTSIDE
Weather permitting, the meeting will be outside and everyone can share dishes. If it rains, the group may move inside and be distanced and comfortable. You do not have to bring a dish to come as we understand it may be stressful to cook for others. Bring a beverage or just yourself.
This new book club is for those who love food and cooking, for both beginning and accomplished chefs.
Are you bored with your cooking? Are you missing your favorite restaurant food?   Join the new cookbook club, where we will explore books about food and try out new cookbooks together.  We will investigate new cuisines and cooking methods and share our own favorite recipes or substitution tips with the group. Let’s inspire each other to try new food and find new favorite cookbooks.
The group will be led by local resident, art historian, and avid chef, Jama Hansonbrook.
Jama claims to have fermented everything from Kimchi to Sourdough Bread to Beer and cooks food from as many geographical regions as she can.
