Intuitive Painting Workshop for Younger Students

Program Details

  • Date/Time: Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am
  • Categories:

Jen Armbruster, artist, art teacher and library trustee, will lead the group. Intuitive painting is a relaxing and stress free painting exercise designed to be fun, loose and generally abstract. You will be gently guided through a series of prompts to create an original painting that truly comes from your instincts using a wide variety of materials. This technique is more about the experience and process than the end results.

Space is limited to 15 participants, therefore registration is required. It is suggested you bring a smock to wear, all other materials will be provided for you.

For children ages 8 to 12

Younger students that participate should be able to work consistently on their painting for 20 to 30 minute periods.
