Butterflies and Pollinators: Animal Embassy – A Joint Program with the NSOLF

This family event is co-sponsored with the North Salem Open Land Foundation. Animal embassy will introduce children to the amazing migration of the Monarch Butterfly. We will explore this natural annual phenomenon and the challenges faced by the butterfly.

Then meet a variety of insects and discuss their life cycles and locomotion. Meet Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, giant centipedes and Emperor Scorpions and insect eating animals such as an African hedgehog and tree frogs.

Free and open to all. No Registration.
