STEAMFest 2017 was a great success!
At least 130 children and their families came and were part of the hands on workshops in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. A number of North Salem MS/HS students volunteered or brought projects. In short, it was a true community event. Thanks to everyone who helped and to Jaymes Dec of Makery NYC who ran the events.
The library’s Visiting Committee, the Caples Fund and a bullet grant from Senator Murphy helped fund the event.
