MOST PUBLIC LIBRARIES IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6th, WE WILL BE JOINING THEM AND OFFERING CURBSIDE SERVICE ONLY.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
The staff will continue to work in the library doing all the things we normally do: processing holds and requests and returns and ordering books, planning Zoom programs, and more. The only difference is that the
public will not be allowed in the library.
We will find items you ordered or interest you, check them out to you, and put them on the cart in the entranceway.
We will suggest books and put together bundles of things you or your family.
We will have craft Grab and Go Bags for Children outside if the weather is nice or in the vestibule, if it’s not.
We will move some new books and current magazines and newspapers outside for you to browse if the weather is nice.
We will see what we can do to help if you need something faxed, printed, or scanned, call or email us.
We hope this will not go on for long, and thanks for your understanding.
Monday, 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Curbside pickup will continue indefinitely.
Call 914-669-5161 or email the library, firstname.lastname@example.org, with your request and we will find the item, check it out to you and leave it outside on the bench or in the vestibule. You can also place a hold on an item from the catalog. Deliveries have resumed between libraries so any holds you place will be delivered here.
