Writers' Workshop
First Wednesdays of the Month at 11:00 AM; May 1st, June 5th
Come join us for a series of writing workshops led by Pam Pooley. Pam is a former instructor at Columbia Teacher's College and author of the memoir, A Season Abroad: Reflections of a Journey of Faith. All writers (and wannabe writers) are invited to share their work, or desire to write, in a supportive atmosphere. Our Saturday librarians offer free one-on-one help with basic computer help between 1:00 and 4:00 on Saturdays. They can help you search the Internet, set up an email account, use Word, learn about social networking sites, search our online databases and more. Call to set up a time, or simply drop-in. Do you have an e-reader or do you listen to audio-books? The Library can help you download e-books or audio-books to your device. Downloadable E-books and audio-books are available for free from the Westchester Library System.
